If Not Now, When?

Everyone of us is living a mundane life.

We chase after a lot of things in life, from fame, money to success and material fulfillment. However, in the end, no matter how rich we are, we eventually end up seeking peace and happiness.

Yet, many people don't know when to start searching for peace and happiness. In our pursuit of the material aspect of life, we put it off, believing that once we have enough money, success or fame, we can then have time to go after peace and happiness.

And many leave this search until it is too late. When they are lying on their death-bed, only then did they realize what are the really important things.

Stop procrastinating and start now to think about how you are living your life.

Yes, some times it is too difficult; I am not ready yet; I need to finish this first (whatever this is)...

Stop putting off what you need to do until tomorrow. Do it now!!

Start now!! If not now, when??

What matters is right now, right this moment.

How you deal with what is in front on you at this present moment is all that matters now. It is all that is important...

So, start now. Do not put it off.

If not now, when??

When Do You Practise?

When do you practise your spiritual development?

When someone scolds you...

When someone is rude to you...

When someone has abused you..

That is when you practise...

When someone caused you to feel distressed...

When someone is being disrespectful to you...

When someone hurt you...

That is when you practise the Dharma

That is when you have to be aware, be mindful and be present...

Letting Nature Takes Its Course

When everyone knows beauty and chases after beauty, ugliness arises;
When everyone knows goodness and flocks to goodness, badness arises;
The wise knows the principle of relativity;
He does nothing, say nothing;
Allowing things to grow without interfering;
Without wanting ownership;
Accomplishing by letting Nature takes its course

I'd Rather Leave While I'm In Love

I have always love this song for so many years.

"I'd Rather Leave While I'm In Love" has so many messages on so many levels. And the song is beautifully sung by Rita Coolidge.

Yes, a lot of times when you really love somebody enough, it is best to leave while you are still in love.

There is no point holding on and forming unbreakable attachments. Some times, it is better to just let go and move on...

Friendship

In friendship, all thoughts, all desires, all expectations
Are born and shared,
With joy that is unacclaimed,
When you part from your friend, you grieve not;
For that which you love most in him
May be clearer in his absence,
As the mountain to the climber is clearer from the plain.
And let there be no purpose in friendship
Save the deepening of the spirit.

- Kahlil Gibran
